Just a year ago Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg started protesting for our climate. It all started with her sitting alone in front of the Parliament house/Riksdagshuset building in her hometown, Stockholm. Just a year later millions have joined the 16-year-old in striking. This Friday is the second strike of #weekforfuture, a global climate strike initiative. Last week, on September 20th, 4 million people had marched the streets of their hometowns, to raise awareness. The Question regarding the #FridaysforFuture strike is not IF you’re participating, the question is WHY are you not participating?

I find this picture so incredibly moving. This is @GretaThunberg aged 15, sat alone outside the Swedish Parliament Aug 2018 – the first school strike. In just one year, she’s created a wave that will change the whole world. Never underestimate the power of one young person 💜💚 pic.twitter.com/84oYgJpnLj
